PJ Wax is a graduate of
Manhattanville College
where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and History. Later he added a Master of Science from the University of Bridgeport.
Mr. Wax began his teaching
career at Our Lady of Sorrows School in White Plains, NY
where he taught 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Social Studies.
After one year at OLS, he took a job at West Rocks
Middle School in Norwalk, CT teaching 8th Grade U.S. History. After
two years at “The Rock,” he took a position at Walter Panas High School in Cortlandt
Manor, NY teaching AP World History, Honors Global Studies II, Honors
U.S. History, Politics/Economics, Criminal Justice and American Military History.
In 2004, Mr. Wax returned
to CT to take a teaching position at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. At FLHS he teaches U.S. History 31, Justice in America,
and Modern European History 41. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Wax is
also the Head Girls’ Basketball Coach, Head JV Baseball Coach and a co-advisor to the Class of 2009.
